as the title states its prob a bit stupid but wat does the power button do? does it just hold it in gear longer? any help appreciated cheers

You can make it go away by doing a 5spd conversion.. :wink: :lol: so basically make "YOU" the power button.. :lol: cos you decide the gear changes.. ''shifting like miss daisy for economy or going hard like Lowndes" :shock:

yep, keeps it in gear longer, was designed for towing mainly I think. But does work for.. yep u guessed it.. POWER! lol

well theres one on ebay with only a few hours to go which i believe is a full conversion kit for the ef falcon.. is stil at $1000 which is a good price if you can do the conversion yourself.. its in the EA<EB<ED<EF<EL "parts section"

does anyone no if switching to power from econamy help in a drag?
ive tryd both and they both seem to always redline, so its almost pointless unless your carring the extra weight

EF dont have a power mode like the previous models, they have normal and economy mode. Shifts happen sooner in enconomy mode and also the torque convertor will lockup in 3rd gear as well as forth (earlier models with normal/power modes will only lockup the torque convertor in 4th).
