That is below 1.6mm tread

possibly a free custom power pole mod
or anything related to bald tyres causing loss of traction etc. |

i got a $180 somthing fine and a week to get 2 new tires last time.

I wasn't being a knob, they pulled me over for speeding and it was a traffic cop so they pinned for the tires aswell

Proper tread will make your car roll better (more friction) and thus save fuel - right?
I'm not sure how much difference it would make to be noticable. Has anyone actually tested this?

YA KNOB. If your speeding with less then good tyres a simple mistake can make that into a complete f**k up. Can't stop if you got nothing to stop with.

in QLD $100 defect vehicle fine and a defect notice to fix the problem........ replace tyre by cirtan date, car canot be drivin on the roads untill fixed when it has been defected, so you have to fix the problem and then report back to police so it puts you out in more ways then one.................keep good tread on your car................................ no matter how good your engine, suspention, etc, etc is its only the rubber that touches the ground........ so no matter how good your car is if you have s**t tyres it means nothing

if you were stuck behind a truck doin 90-95 in 100 zone would you over take? got 122km and a cop was coming other way.
