Really? So revs will not assist in making more power when you currently still have a rising power graph at rev limiter? This post reaks of FAIL!!!

I recon. You are one of the only people here helping me keep sane...

The only way more revs will help is when you are still making power at limiter. otherwise, more revs is a waste of time. In the case of the ute, it has rev limiter set at 5700rpm, power peaks at 5700rpm currently.

you forgot to mention your brothers ute has a rotrex blower.
you are on crack thinking 7500rpm is a good idea just because it makes good power at 6400.

Rules of fordmods...

If you'd dont understand the first few posts 100%ly, don't comment...(that's why this one is off topic, the last 2 pages of laughter have helped clear the haemhorrage that was building up from trying to grasp it, LOL)

If you think you understand, or are to up yourself to realize you don't....DON'T mention any previous afflictions with the H word....might as well walk through ethiopia with a bucket of KFC.

And finally, don't offer out "wanna race then" challenges....cos that's mostly done by 15 year old kids on school holidays, and the location is a local bunnings(Usually?)

Anyone got a ROFL-COPTER!!!?? That could cap this thread off nicely

and how people drive those sorts of cars to work every day?

So.. moderators, we've all just about had enough of this guy, when is this knob going to get? banned?

But are they doing it with the I6? My guess is no.

I'm gonna put my magazine mechanic hat on here for a moment.

No you don't need massive revs to make power. Just over 400 cubes, decent flowing heads, a pair of GT40 turbo's with the housings sized to suit, 15 pounds and 1000hp all day every day at under 6000rpm. Throw in some more boost and dare I say it the car should run 8's all day ever day without so much as breaking a sweat.

Back to reality.

Seriously what is the obsession with revs. Hiboost only spun his motor to 6400rpm (or there abouts) and it pulled a 9.1 @ a hundred and s**t mile per hour.

Your Japanese sub 3 litre engines need the revs because that is what is dictated by the air mass flow rate at those power levels. You might want to do a bit of reading before you hit the reply button again.

In case you can't work it out. that sort of attitude is why I told you to stop being a tosser.[/

Well if you think you can beat me with a car that only revs 5000RPM name your car and race track and we will do it legally. No need racing on the street as your ford god d**k johnson said "Its a road, not a race track!"

Call me a tosser again and i will seek legal action from you being defamitory mate!

You can seek legal action all you want, but you won't get a case for defamation.

If you could prove that he was trying to convince people without reason that you were a tosser and ruin your reputation, then you would be able to. As you don't have a reputation (i.e. a business that would suffer as a result or you are a celebrity who won't get paid to show up somewhere because he convinced us you are a tosser) than you don't have anything to lose at law by him calling you a tosser (you can try and claim you lost face which only works for celebs who lose money by loosing face, but as this is a forum where no one knows who you are GOOD LUCK). Even if by some miracle you did, your legal fees for the initial interview would be more than what you would get ordered by the court

If you stop posting generalised performance ideals and read the specifics of what actually works with these motors (instead of trying to tell people who specifically have experience with them what to do) then you will find people won't treat you like a tosser.

wouldnt defimation only be when some claims he is a tosser when he isnt??

so he would first need to prove he isnt a tosser before he can call it defimation?

Yes, he would have to prove he wasn't a tosser

And it would be required that whoever calls it is trying to damage the person to a class of people (i.e. clients etc). Politicians/celebrities can be successful in claiming 'loss of face' because they can show they will directly suffer 'harm' as a result (harm means real loss i.e. money, not getting re-elected...pure psychological loss is very, very hard to show and requires a recognised mental illness as a result of the action).

It will be built to take that, only only go that far IF it makes power there.

Stop being a d***head mate, how many times do i get to call you a d***head before you make stupid threat of legal action????

You problem is going to be that fact there there are pages of posts that prove you are infact a tosser and d***head, so you have no case to argue.
