Hey guys, gonna replace my fuel rail with a polished oneshould i replace the or ings or re-use the old ones and seal them wit a bit of motor oil? will they be so perished theyll fall apart?

haha it came with the car as soon as i find a new red bootlid ill get rid of it, problem is i cant find a red bootlid :( anyone got one? lol i need to get rid of it ppl laughing at me

replace them, they will perish with time anyway - if you replace them now you are negating the need to replace them 6 months down the track.

and that spoiler is shocking!! when in doubt - use red gaff tape, it'll be better than that monstrosity

yea i was thinking of that i know some places sell specail stick ons to o=cover the holes might try and find some for now

Ahh well in that case, i have to thank you for getting yet another fords away from the ricers.
Oh and i have a red boot lid - it is very badly oxidised and currently in use on my daily driver...

The O-rings aren't even expensive so I'd replace them.

Replaced the small and large O-rings and the pintle caps on an RB30e a while back for a grand total of about $34 or so.

o rings are usually cheap, so it's not worth reusing, just replace so you don't get hassles further down the track. just undo the wing and bog the holes - it'll look better!
