Hi all

In a wagon there is two pieces of fuel hose that connect the steel lines to the pickup/sender unit on the tank. In later models these pieces has quick connects on one end.

I have this crazy idea floating around in this head of mine as part of the ED transformation so am wondering where I can buy some of this hose (just the hose, not the quick connects). I cut a piece off today and it is thick walled rubber with a plastic/teflon/something liner in it.

Suffice to say I want to replace whats there as part of my little project so would I need source the right stuff. (Why is it different anyway)

Any help or pointers appreciated.

Oh, and I am in NSW, Riverstone 2765 actually, so an easy to get to supplier would be just the ticket.

Cheers
RD

On the VN Commodore sedan, there is this big plastic pipe that they use, and after a while, it goes hard and it's s**t, it's a vapour hose.

I replaced it with a major overkill Hydraulic hose.

Dunno if the Hydraulic Hose helps you...

Actually I found out but forgot to update this thread. I rang Windsor Ford to see if you could buy the hoses but they are obsolete. The guy told me to just go buy 8mm fuel injection line from someone like Repco etc. They had some but it was for internal use only.

So my idea may come to fruition, I'll grab some and try it out :)
