I wanted to know what other people have use previously when rebuilding their 4 Litre's (XG)?

The engine being rebuilt already has a JMM DEV5 spec head, and am going to bore the block 40 thou, and completely balance the bottom end. Also be adding a megasquirt once the new engine is run in.

Which rebuild kit would suit my needs considering i'm planning on putting in a bigger cam and reving it to 6 in the future????

I was thinking ACL race series but considering my compression ratio is already around 9:75 to 1, the pistons in this kit have a smaller dish than std one's (8cc compared to 11cc), aimed at increasing a comp ratio of a stock engine to around the figure i'm at now...... Also with 40thou overbore this again increases the comp ratio.

I'm aiming for 10:0 to 1

Any suggestions?
