if I just put a new au sump gasket but then had to take it off due to a leak in the sump weld would it still be okay to re-use again? it has a little bit of oil in like the grooves of the rubber gasket but that shouldn't matter and it still rubbery not hard.

Personally.. if it was me, new gasket ahah, but thats just because im paranoid :roll:

Use Engine Degreaser, not Carby Cleaner.
