Gday,

I've got a '94 XG ute with about 285,000kms. It's a little sluggish but doesnt use any oil. With the amount of ks Im thinking its time for a rebulid before it craps itself. But I wanna get more power out of the old stock 4.0l efi.

So the big question is, do I go for a upgraded rebuild or do I go for a xr6 conversion?

What are the pro's and con's for both, how much?

Do I need exhaust, gearbox rebuild, ecu for thr xr6 conversion or not?

Any help would be great as i have no idea.

cheers

BroadBand Manifold
Putting Ef or later intake manifold on earlier models.

More than likely the way I'll go, thanx Interceptor.

What type of cam is recommended?
