Are the Ef/EL Rocker Covers interchangable? Are they exactly the same or is there minor differences between them?

Well there essentially the same, except for minow differences, like the little plastic guides that hold the ignition leads in place, and there is a 4.0 OHC badge already cast into the cover on EL's, as the EF use the air intake tubing to display 4.0 OHC.

Also, you would need extension bolts to hold the air intake on EF to rocker cover cover, but EL and AU have a smaller length intake tube, and the bolt on to the BBM manifold.

But apart from those little things, they should swap over.

I have an EL one on my ED after doing BBM conversion, just so the throttle and cruise cables would sit nicely attached.

Cheers,

Mark.
