Does it use coolant?
Do you have a milky substance under your oil cap?

do a self diagnosis on it, my bet is give the throttle body a clean and the idle control solinoid! they carbon up after awhile and do what your explaining.

if you had a milky substance under the cap that is the oil mixed with water, in other words you would have a blown head gasket, so if under ur oil cap is nice and black your OK, aslong as its not using much water.

did you push the leads down so that it does not pop up again? some times air is trapped in the lead boots after you install them, they tent to pop off making poor contact.

yep they are on good and there is no milky stuff is it possible the rocker cover gasket is gone? how much are they to replace? it seems there is a bit of oil coming down from the rocker cover and pooling near the 3rd spark plug. Would that cause the car to idel and mis like it is?

the rocker cover gasket won't affect idle, just replace it if it's leaking,as the others have said, clean the idle solinoid and the throttle body, give a really good clean.

to replace the rocker gasket:

1remove all attachments
2remove the four nuts or bolts holding it on
3lift off
4clean mateing surfaces
5place new gasket over the head, basic this part is
you can use gasket goo but i prefer not to
then just reverse order from 3 to 1.

Clean the idle solenoid and if need be replace it -at least you know that is fixed is a future problem arises.

I dont like the ISC. Mine is connected, but I have a gasket underneth it so it's not working. I want my car to run normal, and the computer can't make my car idle when it is connected, but thats what you get with a stage 3 cam
