I am pretty sure it will slot in with XF mounts or maybe the EL/EF ones...K-frame clearance is not an issue i think. Should be pretty straight forward......

Why not use the ecu and EFI??? Pretty sure an engineer will tell you you have to, unless engineers cert' isnt necessary, cause it ford 6 replacing ford 6.....i would do some research before you start, dont want any nasty surprises!!!

Cheers

pretty sure you can get standalone trans controllers from the people (or associates) that make tweecers.

Didn't the EA's that had the 4 speed have the seperate controller under the seat??

to use the BTR, you will need an EA/EB trans control module, and fit a TPS to your carb, you will also need to run an electronic ignition along the lines of an MSD / CRANE etc so you get a square wave output to feed the TCM. All in all, your better off using the EL ecu (ie keep it injected) with a smartlock bypass module. Much more fuel efficient and will be easier in respect to running the auto, and ignition (the ecu also controls the timing, unless you use an XD style dissy)

No, because the BTR is an electronically controlled box.
