Power: 171 rwkw

au fortes dressed up to look like an xr, live axle only, power is around the 220rwkw mark and its a very controled series. the only time ive seen the commos do any good is in the wet because of their irs advantage. I googled them a while ago and read up on the specs, cant remember much now but.

tells you what you can do but not the power output.

so they're pretty much road cars with mods?

weight is pretty much the same, and going by the rules, the power can't be much more then our street cars?

looks like a normal falcon with brake and suspension upgrades with the usual engine mods?

i was just reading through some of the stuff, it looks like the VT engines can be bored out 40thou and can rev to 6250rpm while the falcon is limited to 5800rpm. They dont use an airbox at aswell

the motors are fully built, heads fully ported and polished, aftermarket ecu, no worries about polution and they run a cam that wouldnt run to good for street use that is only available to to competitors.

they aren't allowed alot of headwork, the aftermarket ECUs are control and the cams really aren't that crazy.
220rwkw is way off the mark.
everything is pretty heavily controlled for parity, as well as trying to keep it as a low cost series.
