I've been told by my girlfriend's Dad that my car has been staining his carport.
It was only two drips (neat freak bastard)
But, I looked under today and it looks like engine oil is running to the back of the transmission box.
I'm not 100% sure, as Im a young player.
I'll try and get some photos, but as of the moment it's very slight.
It's black in colour, not red like powersteering etc.
I checked my dipstick and it's half way between fill and full.

Any idea what it could be?
Hopefully it's a warped rocker cover or something easy... as being a teenager, I don't have the most money in the world.

Any help with be really appreciated.
Cheers,
Russ.

EDIT: I checked three out of six of my spark plugs too and they had no oil on them... so I'm not sure if it is the rocker cover.

could be rear main seal.

Is that a big deal?
As I said, I'm a bit of a young player.

This is a picture of the area, not sure how helpful it is.
On the other side of the rectangle there is oil residue, (as in at the back of the tran box, I think :S)
and the circle is where the drip(s) are gathering.
They look very similar to engine oil.

A video is on it's way as well.
Just showing a more detailed (hopefully) area of the drip.
I want to get this sorted out so it doesn't become a big thing.
The video should be up soon.

Check the sump plug, sump gasket first.

Could be rear main, but that generally accumulates on the bellhousing. I still can't see much from your pics and video, need to see in person!

Rear main is trans off, not engine out. Sump gasket is either lift engine out or drop k frame to do easily. Sump plug is easy!

Im taking it down to the mechanic this afternoon to get him to look at it.
Hopefully he can see what's going on.

Turns out it was a front seal,
so it's not a big job.
Just remove radiator and change seal.
Might need to change pulley to, will have to find out.

Thanks for all the help guys.
