Hi Guys
I looked at the sticky but could not find the answer to my question
I have a ef fairmont with jmm dev3hp cam will xr6 spark plugs make a differance to standed plugs ?

I used xr plugs when i had a std head and cam installed
I preferred the lower heat range

Just took the spark plug out it is rusty is this normal the plug are only 5,000 km old

Rusty?

Rusty usually means presence of water..??

Sparkplugs are usually slightly black or white if the cars running lean..

you mean browness tan & a hint of grey?. if so, air/fuel ratio is perfect.
