hey guys..

i got a 95 ef xr6 auto.. anyway i have this problem with my car, when im braking and come to a sudden stop, my rev gauge drops down to about 200rpm, and sometimes even stalls. I found this happens when its cold (as in the whether not engine temp)

Also i was just testing some stuff out, and i put it in nuetral whilst idling and sometimes it just stalled. Basically when under braking it feels like its going to stall, then suddenly gets its revs back up to about 800rpm or sometimes stalls.

what should i be looking at here.

thanks

clean out your throttle body with carby cleaner. Make sure your air filter is clean/new. Make sure all your vacuum lines are connected.
If it still happens after this it could be a faulty throttle position sensor - I think they are around $40.

clean your isc, useually these problems are related to it.

its the thing on top of your t/body pull it off and clean, i cant remember what with though, sure someone will tell you.

i did the cardboard "solid" gaskit for it essentially disabling it and wound the idle screw in more, better throttle responce.
