im still hunting the miss (and lack of pwr) in my car.

cleaner seems to help, but never fixed it. if you were to use cleaner at every service, you'd most liky prevent the clog, but once you've got it, your stuffed

i use 100% petroleum lucas injector cleaner in my ea and at anytime i can and have pulled the inlet manifold off and have spotless injectors, spotless valves, stems, ports & pistons. hate to sound like a salesman but used regularly really keeps ur system clean.

Someone said i should buy the 'good stuff' and it costs around $20, but i haven't found any so far. Is this what you are talking about?

Have you changed the injectors in your car yet?

Throttle body is clean and the plugs are new. I put a $5 bottle of wynns injector cleaner in because that was all that was available. Because the symptoms fluctuate its hard to say whether there has been improvement, but i would say yes, minor, but i can't be sure that's not just due to different fuel or something.

That's interesting, because although my ISC is clean, my car does sometimes seem slow to react, sometimes too slow to keep the engine running. Maybe that could also be because of an old hego, but in your case was obviously the isc.

Also try replacing your PCV. I did this, along with the KAM reset and it worked out fine. I also cleaned the TB and ISC with carby cleaner. PCV was $7 from Ford. Cheap price for a huge problem solution :)

The last few times i've driven the car it's been basically trouble free. If i was going to keep driving it i might pour in another bottle of injector cleaner for good measure.
