i have a BA falcon and i was woundering what i can do to get some power out of it without putting a TURBO on it :?: :? :?

BA FALCON XT

HURRICANE EXTRACTORS
COUSTOM EXHAUST
BF TYPHOON BODY KIT (waiting to get put on)

smilie would say, typhoon intake, and an edit *cough* did i say that? should see you around 170rwkw, BUT as evedenced on drag day his single spinner let a 150rwkw ba with a well setup drivline beat him

I have heard that 3.7 or even 4.11 Diff gears really bring them to life as well, so long as you are willing to sacrafice a bit of economy if you use the highway a lot.

Typhoon intake, extractors of your choice, off the shelf 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust, get your existing cat modified with 2.5" flanges (I personally wouldn't bother with the expense of a custom system), LSD and shorter diff gears (lotta threads on shorter gears, do a search for some different opinions) then an edit to top it all off.
It'll be a 14second car then, with little to no loss in streetability.

yup, spend $3,500 and you should be well into the 14's. I've only spent $1,500 so i'm still in the 15's. :(

thanks guys what about cams would i have to change much inside the motor e.g. injectors, rockers?

factory cams arnt bad.. and being a dohc over the sohc motors does have advantages... Think nizpro made a set for the NA barra six... although very very pricey... $$$ better spent on induction.. extractors.. exhaust.. edit.. and diff ratioo...

undrive pulleys, edit, custom intake there is a fella on FF.comau and fordxr6turbo.com who is running same power as xr6t with no turbo bt with hit of giggle gas

ive seen it on the dyno when he's pressed the nos buttton ans DAMN! it lifts up hard on the dyno!!! :shock: 225 rwhp quickly hits 300+rwhp with the nos... :shock: :shock:
