Just wondering if a standard EL 4lt head would fit on a Tickford EL 4lt motor....

Yes.

Just ensure that if you have a late EL (Hybrid) that you you the rocker gear etc that comes with the head.

EF/EL use the same cam/rockers. Late EL (Hybrid) use a different Cam and Rockers.

Mixing rockers and cams will result in disaster.

EF/EL Cam and Rockers can be used on Hybrid Heads.
