Ive noticed recently if you gun it through a couple gears then go to take it easy, the throttle pedal at first is slightly stuck and you force it down to make it move down. After that its ok until next time.

This happens only after ripping it through a couple gears, not if its just a short squirt in one gear

Am i making sense here?

nah just checked operation and its fine, but you cant replicate it by reving the at standstill, you got thrash the car for a few seconds then go to apply the throttle and its slightly jammed.

The problem started since i fitted my new cam.

Could it be a heat issue? exhaust getting a bit much for the throttle cable?

maybe the isc is opening or something? or is it the cable?

Wrap some thermo tech around cable.

Extractors?? I assume so...coated or not?? If not, new heat sheild also.
Btw if you put silicone down the inner cable...u'll stuff it.

If all else fails even though cable operation seems the norm...replace it, i reckon u'll be right.
