hey all, i keep throwing power steering belts for some reason, no matter how tight it is done up , i keep throwing them off, i was wondering if it the harmonic balancer and if so how much roughly would it cost to replace

will get him to look today, yesterday i heard a noise coming frm the belt, turned car off popped bonnet and seen the belt has twisted itself upside down

hows ya do that?, i might get my mechanic to have a look i cbf, yesterday i heard a noise coming frm the belt, turned car off popped bonnet and seen the belt has twisted itself upside down

my only suggestion would be to put a belt back on, run the car and sit an look for any of the pulleys (p\s pump, air con, tension pulley etc etc) and just see if they are buckled....

Or if you have time and petrol, pull up a chair and a beer and wait to see how the belt comes off...just dont sit too close lol

lol i will buy a belt when i get my money off my mate, then look and try try both ideas on pay day lol...mmmmmmmmmmm rum
