Anybody possibly know what this may be.
Recently had brakes done front & rear pads new fuid etc.
Recently installed Suby speakers & amp.
Recently added cruise control.

When driving along this smell comes on for no apparent reason. Will last about 3 or 4 minutes and dissapear. may be gone for 10 to 20 minutes to come back again.

Can only smell whilst driving. Is strongest coming in through drivers vents or on drivers side. Come to think of it I was driving with vents on recirc and heater on. (was a cold night)

Just looking for some tips.

prolly a long shot...

when it does it, feel the brake stop switch.

A Mate of mine had a melting plasitc smell and it turned out to be the brake light switch..

Rare... But it did happen!

My Fairlane has the same smeel. I though it was the new E fuel I once tried but the smeel still popped up after I ran the tank out. I still think it has somthing to do with the fuel though.
