I think the place he was looking for was ITS Performance??

They were selling whole T5 conversions for $850 not fitted.

The fitting isn't hard, we did mine in basically a day... and we were lazying around. No one could be bothered doing anything.

Hardest part been the pedal box, and holding the flywheel while your trying to get the bolt to go in, top starter motor bolts, top bellhousing bolts. And little things like that.

So, doable in driveways, yes and garages. As long as you can jack the car up quite a bit and stick it on stands. And doable in a weekend. Sure.

Cheers

nope they're in campbelltown, sydney. Maybe there's a branch down there? I don't think so but. If you're down that way, you may wanna try XR8 dismantler (fentree gully or whatever it is), im sure he'll have plently.

Cheers

but if you do it, dont forget to either get a new computer, or do that relay thing people have mentioned, otherwise you may have some issues.

So you pay the $850 for the gearbox and all the other gadgets then you need to go get a new comp for it? how much does that set you back? and also what issues may arise from not replacing this?

ITS in Sydney aye? How much was it for the T5 from FTG Auto salvage?
