Hi is there a way i can take out the whole ac system since its degased and i dont really use it anyway and what do i put were the pump is like an extra pully or somthing else.

Just make up a bracket and put an idler pully there :D

if it is in an eb??? ea,eb,ed runs a seperate belt for the aircon...
so just remove the belt,pump,idler bracket,pulley and hoses... done...

if its ef,el ect you need to source a idler pulley to replace where the pump is...

Wont just taking the pump out and belt put strain on the harmonic balencer. cheers :)

yeah im a tight a** sucks the fuel boosts the temp its bolted there doing nothing. :lol:

thats a myth...
it doesnt really use anymore fuel.. its only the people who use it can feel slight drag on the engine so they drive with more throttle to make up for the difference..hence use more fuel..

and if your cooling system is good it shouldnt run hotter at all..

or if you fit ef thermo fans and hook them up so they turn on with the aircon, the engine actually runs cooler... mine does!!

but its your car... :)
