Hi guys just wondering if some one could tell me what size the spark between electrodes should be when, i tested my leads today the spark seemed very fant but it might susposed to be like that and also does anyone know how to fix the bcm mine needs a hit every time to start the car thanks

g'day mate,

its probably not even worth fixing the BCM unless theres a really obvious broken track or joint inside it. They go for about 30 bucks on ebay and are a piece of piss to install.

Hi mate can you get them from a wrecker, also do you think thats the problem it looks that it is the problem considering every time i hit it the car starts what do you think?

if your hitting it it will probably be dry joints.

get another one, shouldnt be to expensive.

you may have to relearn your keys/ keypads though

Thanks gaz but how do you relearn your keypads? and is a another bcm just plug and play sort of thing?

If you are half decent with a soldering iron, just repair it, it's not difficult to get out or open up.

At least open it and have a visual inspection of it, it may be something simple.
