Quick Question guys anybody tried putting a bigger throttle body on a el xr6 if so did it make a difference and also what was it off. sorry about all the questions.

Going bigger dosnt do anything - the throttle body is already huge.

Sorry to hijack the thread but is the EL throttle body bigger then the EBs? And are they interchangable given that the EL has the broadband manifold while the EB does not? :?

changing them wont do anything, ive been where you are and found out that the TB is already massive, unless ur goin 6tb :P money is spent better elsewhere, go a rpd cam

what about on a 02 manual ba falc. it has a 70mm and ss inductions have a 74mm but its like 5-6 hundred buks. would there be that much differance

ive an aftermarket throttlbody on my EF Fairmont i6... didnt make a noticeable differnce by itself..

its roughly around 68-70 mm... with the butterfly copper polished..

the standard ba xr8 has a 75mm throttle body, the standard xr6 is 70mm. does any know if the xr8 body will bolt onto the xr6? if so cheap up grade?![/list]
