does any one know were i could get a Tappet cover off and XR6 or anything like that or suggestions on how to paint ot spruce up the tappet cover and yeah

paint the bastard. About $80 worth of paint/materials, and a week or an 'hour here and there' effort.

May be hard to tell in that pic, but it's same colour as the car.
