Superlows wont be too bad as long as the car is placed on the trailer correctly. It should be no worse than having 2 people in the back seat. I think the general rule is to put 10% or so of the weight of the load over the tow bar.

The cheapest option would be to get a heavy duty towpack from a wrecker. Some may even be able to fit it for you.

Get a good trans cooler if you dont have one already as well.

hey, i just saw a similiar thread, although it was for a car already fitted with a towpack.

I have a 96 EL falcon which is my daily driver and has stock engine, auto trans and suspension. Its soon also going to be a towcar for a tandem trailer carrying a (waits for gasps) r32 skyline 8-) . Im just wondering what i need to do regarding getting my car to tow this, taking into account it doesnt have a towpack atm. Would I be best getting a factory 2.5t tow pack? What is in a towpack? Is it easy to install?

I also want to lower it, but superlows are obviously now out. Can I use heavy duty low springs?

Cheers Nick

Does anyone have any recommendations for aftermarket tranny coolers? And are they running stock lines or bigger diameter lines?

Remeber stabiliser bars, i have seen 6 or so MVAs where not having these has caused jack knifes, and fatalities in some cases.
