WILL A DODGY TPS SENSOR CAUSE A EL SEDAN TO HUNT AT IDLE BUT DRIVES GOOD,DISCONNECT THE SENSOR AND IT IDLES FINE WOULD THIS MEAN TO GET ANOTHER TPS SENSOR PLEASE HELP.

you can check the tps voltage at the ecu if your got knowalage and a multi meter..

otherwise yes a bad tps can cause hunting if the signal voltage is out..

my multi meter is out of order (laughs) but as soon as i disconect it she runs fine no hunting idles perfect.i mite try another sensor?
