i orderd a AU2 Head Gasket kit a week or 2 ago which the bloke told me it was supose to come with everything i need head gasket, exaust, intake, rocker, timing cover,thermostat gaskrts Ect. and most importantly head bolts!
when i recieved the kit today it only contained a headgasket, exhaust ,intake and rocker cover gasket.  no head bolts!
and im not sure without opening the kit if it is a meatal head gasket. its Black and part no. is ER 6584 AKT. it dosent say what model it fits can anyone teel me if i got a AU II head gasket?

the AU ones are multi layered steel.
u don't get Headbolts with the kit, they're purchased seperately.

i cant realy tell without opening it and i dont wanna open it just incase i have to take it back. im just anoyed because they said head bolts are included in that kit and thay are not. if they told me they where not included i would have just got headbolts as well and had them sent out. but now i got no bolts. and i also want to know if i got the right head gasket.

You really didn't expect a Ford spare parts guy to know what he was talking about did you? He probably just thought the bolts came with the kit, it not like he's going to go check for you.

cant remember who i was talkin with, mackay ford is just as bad rocky seems to be ok tho for spares.
Madmax. the guys at the spares should know, its there job isn't it? if not they can find out for you they should have acess to parts lists and description. also part of their job. any way not to worry got some head bolts on the way from M'Mount Engineering and gonna get Head gasket replaced in 2 weeks. and the head gasket is the right one had a close look at it.

Don't bet on it, usually the only parts guys who actually know what they are doing are the ones that have been around the same brand for a long time. I've seen similar situations at various dealerships and aftermarket parts shops.
