Yesterday I got my Wade 1636 cam installed, and it rocks! :D

For a Mild regrind cam, you can really feel that midrange power. And it works really well for me, the power increase is definately there, though im still let it run-in before I give it a good burl! The idle noise sounds nice and overall driveability is great. Works hand in hand with my 4480 extractors too, designed for midrange power.

For a $40 secondhand EF cam from the wreckers, a great regrind from wade (cheers to scott and the boys), and a cheap install from the local mechanic with my ford shims, she's a beauty to drive. Been a long time coming but it was worth the wait

Matt

with my ed 5 speed with 2.23 diff and 2.5" zorst i pulled 132 on the dyno-mite.

You should get a wee bit more than that.

Can really feel the torque kick in at about 3-3500 rpm

rushed - yeah its definately time for a blacktop run :D

smoke_rubber - Yep, i am running an auto, and because both the cam and extractors are midrange-up power driven, they work hand in hand.

byrneing - im due for a dyno test myself I think :P The torque kicking in after 3000rpm is awesome!

MMD - this cam does run well on the standard ecu. It doesn't take long for the computer to get used to the new cam at all, just 3 hours of driving normally to run it in is best, before the real booting it can be tested ;)
