The 1004 comes in phase 114 and 112, one is for manual one's auto.

i have the 1004 cam and it made a big improvement
over the standard cam, just a bit funny on idle
but definately worth getting

im updating to a 1604 just to see if the idle quality improves
otherwise i would of stuck with the 1004

Go and get an xr6 cam .Put it straight in with no shims and mucking about. Then the money you save on shims verniers and self doubt..buy a chip. You will kick a**.

I was running a cam from a tickford xr6 in my EBII, they go well, but there still not the same as running a stage 2 cam upgrade. And you don’t have to run vernier gears with the 1004 or 1604 profiles. At the moment I’ve got a 1604 sitting here beside me ready to be dropped in in the morning.

I have an EF XR6 manual, which cams would suit this? also how much power increase would you expect with this?
