I wouldn't exactly say water coming out of the exhaust is the 'First Sign' of a head gasket failure, but yes it is one. We'd all look pretty bloody stupid if we all started ripping heads off every time we saw water coming out of an exhaust. So without any mention of coolant loss and the fact that the car has been siting for awhile it is fair for us to diagnose that he is only seeing condensation. If further down the track he starts noticing coolant loss then yes it might just be that his head gasket has failed.

All im saying is we don't want to go jumping on the head gasket bandwagon just jet.

ill agree with madmax and Steady ED, as every ford we own, thats 4 ford's, plus we own 8 cars all up and they, if u leave them long enuff will blow sum water out the exhaust.

1 other thing, even if he takes his car to a mechanic, what r they goin 2 do to stop the head gasket goin???
