Whats wrong with the flash tuner? Unichip, Chiptorque or a new ems Wolf, Microtech etc.... Cost a bit to fit and tune though. Flash tuners are only $600 now + a few hundred for tuning.

ef xr6 ecu... higher rev limit..and the car idles slightly better with large cam that the standard ecu would not...(idle aswell as)

Any decent tuning shop will do them, but seeing as your 18, and likely have no clue what you are talking about. You probably don't need one. Unless of course you plan to spend 7ish grand on doing a turbo kit or something. |

To sum up, you get your ecu done after your mods to tie everything together and tuned to suit the new mods. Without mods you might get a few kw from the new ecu. Hardly worth the money is it?
