yeah, s**t... but considering stock they are meant to run 16s, I was doing well.

Now, hard to say... I don't wanna estimate, cos I don't wanna estimate wrong.

Assuming I can keep traction, and do a good launch, Id be expecting a low 14. And thats cos it feels alot faster than what it used to be.

Cheers

I only ran it stock with half a fuel pump (you'd understand if you had a drive in it).. and it run a 15.7. Haven't ran it since, once I came already with everything fixed, and my diff blew as I was staging.. I haven't got the best of luck... but soon!

And just to give you an idea on how much of a chance Ive had to get dyno printouts, or drag times, the day I installed the cam, I drove home in 3rd (it wouldn't come out of gear), and then searched for a box, and then installed the box, sorted other things out, battery went dead, bought another one, and now the ignition is been a little b**ch. So, if my car was now driving the first thing Id do is take it dragging this wednesday... unfortunately, I can't..

Cheers

Man that sucks!

Now, I'm not trying to start another s**t, but, if you've ran a 15.7, then why are you challenging me to a drag?

What do you honestly think she would pull with the cam?

Hang on let me get in line to run him too then!

Thanks for the info guys, am tossing up between an RPD stage 2 and 3 :? At the end of the day i want some driveability and fuel economy but still want great power, i know this is ussually a bit of a trade-off

Well, I'll have quarter times, definitive ones, no exuses ones, this sunday for the RPD 'stage 2'
Assuming Heathcote doesnt get rained out.
On the 'how does it drive' factor, ive posted before.
It is poorer then stock under 2500.
Maybe it's something to do with my car, or the mods that I've done, but theres no arguing that when I ran my exhaust and extractors 16.9, I could pull standstills on, eerr, private roads in the dry no problems.
Now it struggles, and feels like a slug off the line.
I anticipate my 60's to be poorer then my previous 2.5s, but im hoping the top end makes up for it.
Other then that, this thing thrives on highway driving, which I mostly do.
80-120 feels brisk, with a bit of a shove in the back, so its alot nicer overtaking cars on country roads.
Anyone thinking about an RPD stage 2 in vic is welcome to have a spin/drive of my car.
Just remember it ran a 16.9 stock, so dont go expecting anything more then a low 16, best case scenario IMHO.
But does it get me to work? Yes.
Is it fun getting there, even at 4 in the morning? Yes.
Will it own the traffic light drags? Probably not, at least not in an auto.
