I was paying $700 through AAMI, agreed value of $8600.00 (for an ED) with the mags, lowering and extractors on the policy. A phoned them the other day and told them about the turbo Id just fitted. "No problem, would you like to increase the agreed value" was the reply. "Yeah make it $12000.00" I said. "Your new premium will be $765 a year. Would sir like to pay the difference now by credit card?" "f**k yes" said sir.
Before that I phoned Just Car. Agreed value $5000.00 (their agreed value, not mine), none of the mods were covered but would not void the policy. All this for the princely sum of $1850 per year. Go figure.

You got two suspensions?

NRMA won't give me any 'value' for mine ($2,200 worth complete upgrade). They say well you need suspension anyway.

Fully comp quotes from JCI (only party interested) were around $3000 per annum. Full disclosure - blower, BOV, "air filter changes", gauges etc.

Needless to say, im happy with my 3rd party property for $300pa

Never made a claim, hopefully won't have too. But Alianz is a huge insurance company, like I said, they sponser Webbers F1 car and that, so I doubt there too bad. My excess is like 700 or 800 because of my age.
