The EL GT is definately noticably larger - I never released they were larger than the AU Tickford ones! Go the blue one with a new paint job!!!

the blue pipe looks very std like a EL 6cyl intake and the the 1 with tickford wings could just be a AU XR type
But get part numbers of them and i can confirm them from the book

The blue one is an EL GT snorkel.
The black one is an AU Series 3 XR8 intake snorkel. I have used both and there about the same size. I ended up selling the EL Gt one for $30 because the AU one seemed too let alot more bugs and grasshoppers in the airbox(sucking in more air) and has a more aggressive intake mouth like seen on the $300 SS inductions snorkels..

The Tickford one just looks better, fix the hole and it will be as good as new.

yeah im going to fix the hose as soon as i buy some fibreglass.
the car in the background is indeed a 1966 Fairmont XP 4 door. its owned by my brother and he is willing to part with it for 4500, it also comes with spare panels and i think a motor or 2. it has a 186 with origional 2 SPEED auto. im very very tempted to buy it and restore it to origional (had a 200 super pursuit motor but was destroyed in an accident - mounted a centre island). i have painted the intake snorkel black along with all the other intake pipes ans sanded and painted the airbox lid as i didnt like the mould circle. they look stealth now
