hi guys just a quick question in my au i used to use 5/30 oil 4l straight 6 but the guy at supercheap told me to use 15/50 in my ed would this be right to use

Ride: EA SVO, AU2, Toyota Crown

depends on kms. and wear. EB2-ED's used 15w40 oil from the factory

Weekend car: AU2 "XR8" 220kw 5L 5 speed. 19" BBS LM . Full exhaust. Lowered on Kings and Koni's. 13.8@97mph
Fast car: EA SVO AU motor. Built BTR. SDE 3500 stall. 76mm turbo. On E85. approx 425rwkw. 10.8@126mph

unless the motor has been rebuild with tighter clearances don't go thinner than what Ford says to run. EA-EB1 3.9L ran 25w50. EB2-EL ran 15w40. AU ran 10w30

The guy at supercheap is knob. You use Xw40 (15w40, 10w40 5w40 0w40) in EB to EL

You can go thinner but the engine may burn some oil. I use 0W20 in my AU
