Hi,

I have XR6T, Sequential Automatic (4 speed), 280rwkw. 14Psi tappering off to 12 psi at top end. Bigger PWR intercooler. what should the car run down the quarter mile?

Has anyone run a similar set up car or seen them run at the drags?

Im gonna have to take it down but want to be pretty certain ill run a good time.

mate i reckon a low 10 is possible with setup!

there is no way you can tell unless u take it to the strip!
there are cars out with with less power and can run faster than you
depends on how u launch, what tyre pressure and tyres you are on hell even the time of the day will affect your times,
seriously sick of seeing these post of * how fast will i be* take your car there run it then come back and tell us

as an example to the above take my car
auxr6 auto S1 with full exhaust and some intake mods and nothign else ran 2 runs in the 14's :D with 180,000km on the clock i gurantee if i asked this question when a day or 2 before ppl would have said mid to low 15's

now shut up and run the car

get some slicks or mt radials. wouldn't even bother without them.

i would expect around 12.0 to 11.5 with slicks.

make sure u stall it up to.

I'll have to consult with Slick, we'll need to combine our brain power to find the answer to such a difficult question.

Im just asking for potential of the car. What should it run, with right tyre pressure, stall it properly etc etc.

If it ont run that ill put it down to the driver but I just want to know what the potential is with my setup..

Ever heard of the MOROSO speed calculator? It knows all the answers. For 30 odd bucks you can't go wrong.

As everyone already have mentioned, his car should make good time with "Slicks"..... at the wheel. rofl

between 13.10-13.30sec depending on air density, surface temp & wind direction.

Where'd did you pull those figures from ????
A turbo Falcon with 370 + rwhp , c'mon Slick , you can "wild guess" better than that .

Slick overcompensated for the air temperature in his calculations.
I'll need this list of questions answered before I can tell you, with absolute certainty, what time you will run.

1. How much does the driver weigh?
2. What date will you be racing the car?
3. What time, down to the nearest second?
4. What race is the driver?
5. What pressure in the tyres?
6. What brand of tyre?
7. What is the starting officials name?
8. What is the name of the kid with the blower cleaning the starting line?
9. How many HP is the blower?
10. What is your wifes name?
11. Is she hot?
12. Any kids?
13. How big is your house?
14. Mortgage?
15. Where do you work?
16. Your boss a nice guy?
17. KTHXBAI
