went to the strip with some friends a couple of years ago. they had a VY v6 wagon and a VT1 Clubby, i obviously had the falcon.

VY - 17.0
EF - 15.9
VT - 15.9

:lol: funnily enough, the VT driver wasnt too impressed.

that wagons slow.. our wagon pulled a 16.6 :P

do a search in google and it will tell you wat to buy and what to do. its basically a piece of crap 20 cent resister that you put in your iat (ignition air temp) senser to trick it into thinking its always cold outside. and as most of you know, cars always seem to go harder at night when its cold

i'm pretty sure it came down to 2 things:
1. Driver
2. Townsville track is slipperier than ice!!

yeah it is pretty slippery. I saw a vz manual SS doing 15s all night. must surely have better than that in it? I have done a 15.5 in my ef and its got a taxi mileage setup in it...

i couldnt stall it up past 1000rpm in my stock auto falcon 6 with good tyres. its definitely slippery!! :P

and yeah, VZ SS would have more than that in it, well more... unless the driver was s**t :lol:

Nicco you ran 15.9? i suppose yours would have been a stocka in limp home mode to run that :P and the VT woulda had a 4000 Stally slicks and a cam and ran 15.9 :lol:
