whats the difference in types of cams?

I've read nothing but good things about the RPD/ALTED stage 2 cam, made by Jaysen.

When I get a E series I will most definately get the stage 2 cam from him.

Thanks for pointing that out Jaysen. When I had the rocker cover off my corsair i noticed it had flat pads resting on the cam lobes. I just thought all OHC's were the same.

My stage 3 cam (by no means a 13 second car) is rather drivable. I even did about 450km of trailer towing on the weekend. It would be more driveable if I hadn't done so many burnouts and didn't have so much lash in the diff :D

regound cams and billets are much the same. both have a suitable profile ground on them. A billet cam maintains the stock base circle dimension with a new higher lift profile than can be achieved by re-grinding a stock cam. this make higher lift cams with less backlash and better rocker angles possible. you could of course grin the rocker posts to match.
