hey guys i got ef falcon and i want to install the battery in the boot i just wondering what are the rules on the conversion? id like to get it approved in future.

i was going to put battery in a marine battery case and bolt that to the floor with a breather pipe running out of the battery and out threw case and boot out just above the diff.

is that about right?

the one thing got me is What amp cable to use? what did you guys use whan you did your conversions?
and where did you run it and how long did your require

Thx

Yep, the gases must be vented from the battery case, and the battery case must be sealed. Remember the gases from the battery, one being Hydrogen, not good if theres a spark.
You'll need 600amp cable minimum.

What is the battery going to be used for? starting, aux power or stereo system?

I ran Narva 255 amp cable for mine.

Get a sealed battery - that way you don't have to worry about gases.
