I ask this as id prefer to keep it VCT due to being an auto and the VCT may help having a hotter cam in it and once i get up to the 3000rpm mark it will advance it causing a rush of power?
Anyone know who sell VCT cams for the AU VCT heads Where i can get one and id prefer billet over a regrind although a regrind if i must and Approximately how much? anyones help/advise would be great thanks

JMM is the only one I know of.
Good luck gettling a billet though!

i know i rang JMM today and he said they wont have any billet cams till mid year which is a shame but something to look forward to

hi there ive had au vct motor in my ea for about 7 years when i put wolf 3d ecu in power jumped from 120 rwkw stock motor and chip , to 145 rwkw [of course with exhaust, cold air ]this was about 2 years after i fitted motor then wanted more power had same trouble finding cams
gave crow comes a call they gave me about 7 regrind cams to choose from ended up choosing one in middle of there range. installed and tuned lost 25rwkw straight of the bat i was not happy about 2 weeks later thought i have my tuner play with the cam timing on the vct cam gear . got back about 10 to 12 rwkw power went from 122rwkw to 133rwkw , but u know it drove better and had a nice cammy note at idle once again dyno rwkw dosent mean everything !!!!! ended up going back to standard vct cam in the relentless pursuit of power lol hope this helps |

CMS do a regrind for the VCT cams. Was not given any feed back on what they are like though, as not many have been done I believe.

thanks well after hearing that and looking at the JMM kits $$$$ OMFG im thinking about just porting and polishing the VCT head and see where that may gain me power as (from what JMM claims you can get 160rwkw out of the stock VCT motor without having to pull it apart) how true this is i dont know as ive never spoken to anyone that has been there and got the VCT kit from him done but from what wade has told me and the engine rebuilder that did my engine said (considering that its a fresh bottom end) i should be able to pull the 150rwkw mark with a good tune and running premium fuel but im only after that kick when i need it as i dont drive at 5-6thousand rpm all day maybe 1 a month more like it lol but im going towards being more reliable that something thats going to be a powerhouse as ive almost finished my el turbo motor and suited BTR auto (been beefed up cost almost $2500 to handle 400+RWHP) to put in another eb/ed fairmont ghia? if i can ever find a decent one with a rooter motor and box lol cheap and in good nick
