Which head is it? Im told cam will tell me?

So I bought a tickford head.. Lucky me.
Trouble is, I dont know which bloody model it came off.

Camtech tells me there is a difference in the cam (significantly so) between two of the later models (doesnt much matter which)

I am told that looking at the numbers on the cam will tell me which head I have?

The cam has the following on it:

94TD6250

Followed by a AC and a backwards looking 'B'

On the other side it also has this number, but instead of the 'backwards B' it has DD

Any help greatly appreciated.

Could you teach me how to know and also to assess it in the future if this happens?

I think what Camtec is refering to is the EL Hybrid Engine. Cam is AU and not E series.

So to be clear, what you're telling me is Ranga is wrong and I ordered the wrong cam? :)

I just got a measurement off the cam and the base circle diameter is 52.25mm

Camtech seem to think this is an earlier EF styled one, also.

The numbers you quoted are for an EF Ticky Cam, so no worries with what you orderd as long as that is the cam that came out of the head.

Only difference betwwen the EF & EL cams as such is when they changed over to the Hybrid engine late in the EL run.
