I have a NL fairlane and all three lights have stopped working all of a sudden I've changed the fuse checked the pedal switch, I've recently put a EF steering wheel on my car could that have something to do with it? Or could all of the lights blown at the same time?
Cheers.

make a testing light up and then try on your parkers for example to see if you have power their or not?

on the brake light switch on the pedal,
put the ign on,
get in there with the test light and press the brake pedal down
check theres power (light on) on both sides of the switch
if not they are about $20 from super cheap or $50 odd from fords, repco would sell them too

Test brake light switch...

1) Unplug the black plug that goes into the brake switch ontop of the brake pedal shaft. You will notice it has two female terminals.

2) Now get a piece of wire and short the terminals out. (a piece of wire about 1inch long will do and put each end into the terminals).

3) Now turn the ign on or start the car what ever floats your boat. If the brake lights come on then you need a new switch. If they don't come on then you have another problem....

Cheers and have a nice day..................

This.

Brake light switches are a common fault on EF/EL etc.

I believe Ford now sell a stronger unit (Taxi's were replacing them like monthly lol) so buy once and forget.
