bad bad bad , bloody head gasket it is .

open to suggestions now
1 take to ford , get it fixed

2 take to privateer ,same

3 diy , and frigg about with the help of kids ,dog , very little tooling ,no help to lift the head off , no shed (bloody rain) , find out its a furgin cracked head or sumthin and i'll blow a ring gear me-self

4 burn it , go to holdens

option 3 is the way to go here may.. the head gasket is a piece of piss to change, ½ day with your self a few mates an BBQ and beer.. however incorrect ratio of work to beer may result in longer go to whoa time for replacing gasket.
1:1 ratio is acceptable 1hour : 1beer, however for the first 2 hours a ratio of 1:3 is also suitable then revert to 1:1 ratio to maintain alcohol blood levels

Yeah! Cant argue with the 1:1 ratio. Overdid it when we did the last engine and finished up spending the night in Flinders Medical Centre after cutting tendons in my right hand due to alcohol aided misjudgment!! But yeah DIY man! Save yourself a s**t. Biggest drama is actually getting the headbolts undone! Those bastards can be tight!!!
