hi guys,
im after an XH snorkel for my ED XR6, just as a little mod. I saw on the tech doco here that they are avout 32 bux from ford. Iv emailed two dealers around my place and iv got quotes of $50 and $61.50. Has there been a change recently or what? Its interesting too see that two give quite different prices i recon, cheers

i paid about 35 for mine
PM darren from FTG auto salvage. i think he has them for around the 35 mark

It's weird you know.....2 Ford dealerships only a few suburbs away from each other have completely different price structures in their parts departments. I noticed that Costanzo Ford in Bundoora can be more expensive than Bayfords in Preston depending on the item. You'd think that it would be a set price structure for all of the Ford parts dealerships.

it is fairly well a set price, just some places are retail dealers and have to pay freight charges and usually only buy off bigger dealers, where the big dealers buy direct from Ford Melbourne

when i got my xh snorkle it was $44. from ford.
and the xr6t snorkle was $33 .. its strange how the prices are so different. |

yeh, i just found it really strange, you'd think that ford would have a set price for all dealers, odd i though, might ask a few others and see what they say, cheers

Worth it or not? I just got my car today, and was gonna go K&N and this XH part.. It mates up to the EA II box no dramas? |
