Possible been asked a thousand times... But searched failed me for the 1st time since being 'fixed'.

Can a set of extractors from XD / XE / XF fit onto EA to AU?

I ask this because I have found aheap of various 'Multi-fit' X-Series extractors on eBay for cheap.

I did find something related to welding extra peices of metal onto the Xx extractors to allow drilling to be mounted correctly. Is this just a pipe dream or is it a case of effort outways the results?

I know this sounds like a noob question, so be it?

Buy them to fit. It would be nothing but trouble if you welded on a second flange and it warped while doing so. If you had a dog of a car it probly wouldn't matter, but you have a very nice one and to cheap out on it would me a crime. Do it once do it right.
