okay guys, i have as said $200 to spend, and i was wondering what sound gadgets i should get, (i've already got kenwood 6x9s), i was thinking something for the front doors, ie 4 inch or what ever else will fit in that hole.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

i've heard of 6" fitting into the holes
maybe some of those...im guessing you already have a HU.
But i rekon the best thing to do is hold onto the money until it get a little "bigger"

I put 4' speakers flush mounted on the doors when i had my XF, sounded pretty nice with the 6'9's too.

But dont you have factory front speakers? If you do just go with that size and upgrade them or fail that get 6' splits or something if they will fit, it is possible to get a set of splits for $200 but dont expect to have a top brand speaker or you could get 3 way speakers.

Prolly cheaper and less fuss too. :P

okay yeah i've got a 300 dollar pioneer hu (i got it for 160), got 100 buck kenwood 6x9's for 40 bucks (off a wog mate), that wog mate also got a set of 4" kenwoods for his doors for 40 bucks, would that be an alright investment???
if not i'll just go with a K&N filter with the XH snorkal (was already getting the snorkel)

you can live with the fronts for now (and yes, you can put that on the list of things you thought you'd never hear me say) so get the K&N and the snorkle

i also find that 4" speakers are s**t if you have good 6x9's in the back. you just cant hear them, nomatter how good they are. your stock 6" speakers will sound alot better

okay screw the speakers, i'm heading straight to the engine department, getting the K&N filter, xh snorkel, and some paint to snazz up the engine bay a bit. Getting the clear indicators in the new year, and also then saving for window tint, wheels and lowering. Sound system will now be completed last.

The $200, was gonna go towards the sound stuff, i got a further $100 and also have $500 in the bank. so that $200 will bring it to a grand old total of $800.
