hello guys
lookin around at putting in a system into my car but am a bit confused. how do you people fit 6.5inch speakers into the 6inch holes??? arnt the speakers too big? i am lookin at the response 6.5inch splits for the front and rears of my ef futura but aparently i have 6inch holes. so am i gonna have to cut the holes out a bit bigger? or do some speakers 'just fit'? thanx guys biff

so....do u thinkthe response 6.5inch splits fit in the rears and fronts? has anyone put these response speakers into an ef???

With the mdf ring all you do is grab some 9mm mdf and cut out a small spacer. Takes about 15min to do both sides and gives you more solid mounting anyway.

yeah those mdf rings i used on my rears then i got rid of it because it fit anyway. Some places like Strathfield call them Baffel Plates and i cant remember what autobahn call them. Here in SA auto bahn are the only people that sell them.
