Ive just had my car broken into and im looking for a good but not too expensive alarm for it. im not worried about spending more on a better alarm if i can re-fit it into a new car once i get rid of this one. anyone know any good brands?

i also was thinking of a way to cover my door locks because that's hot they got in they forced the lock until the doors all opened.

ok only helps things a little, but I personally changed my door handles for EL handles it eliminates one door lock, if you feel confident you could fiberglass and bog up the drivers side, or even just disconnect the barrels from the lock and leave them sitting then they can force all day and get no where if there disconnected, but you'd need to be confident with your keyfob etc. Also maybe worth, somehow fitting in a manual override., maybe something like a cable mechanism threaded through the door out with the wiring and out under the front guard, near the side repeater.
if this concept would work or not I couldn't guess but how just some random idea.
